Project Description

Isla de la Plata

Fondly called Small-Galapagos, Isla de la Plata can be reached by boat in one hour. There are many animals living on the island that can be found in Galapagos as well (Blue-footed booby, different pelicans, seagulls and turtles). The island has been protected as a nature reserve and can only be reached through boat companies with a special permit.

A day trip to the dry island with a final snorkelling experience is a real highlight. Due to the limited capacity of the daily number of visitors, you should book your trip in advance.

Between June and September, the whales are offering a unique spectacle here. The humpback whales are observing the tourists as curious as the tourists are observing them…
